New York State 2022 Elections

The primaries for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Comptroller, State Assembly, and U.S. Senate will be held in June, with early voting June 18-26 and primary day the 28th.

Congressional and State Senate primaries will be held in August with early voting from August 13 to 21 and primary day the 23rd.

There are two primary elections this summer and the General Election in November. And if you're not yet registered to vote, you must register 25 days in advance of the upcoming election.

 This June, there is a Primary and Early Voting Period:

Election Day is Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Polls are open from 6am to 9pm.

Early Voting Period is June 18, 2022 - June 26, 2022.

Register to vote by June 3.

 This August, there is a Primary and Early Voting Period:

Election Day is Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Polls are open from 6am to 9pm.

Early Voting Period is August 13, 2022 - August 21, 2022.

Register to vote by July 29.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Polls are open from 6am to 9pm.

Early Voting Period is October 29, 2022 - November 6, 2022.

Register to vote by October 14.
